I would definitely call this a feast because I made all of the items wholeheartedly, with love and utmost care for the man of my life. They say - "The easy way to win a man's heart is through food". I have always believed that and it has done wonders for me :)
Oct 3rd 2011 - We were celebrating S's birthday marking it as the first year together. It was most special for me. Opportunities of these kind bring in fountains of energy in me and I would do as much as I can. After a very tiring day at work, cooking helped me relax much better than anything. I had decided the menu and went in shopping for the items I needed. S had warned me no cakes and no cake cutting. But I couldn't make myself up for it. S was concerned that I would strain myself to prepare the cake and thus didn't want to cut one.So, instead of baking a cake myself (I wonder if S was more worried my health or that bad cake I would end up with ) got a cake from Daily Breads - Full Dutch Choc Truffle :) Coming back to my dinner feast, these were the items I prepared.

- Thick Veg Soup
- Coleslaw ( a kind of salad)
- Veg Cutlets
- Burger
- Mushroom Biryani
- Pineapple Kesari
This round there was power at home and I started cooking much earlier while I was feeling energetic. To say that S was surprised again and felt so happy would be such an understatement. I know that he had not expected cutlets, coleslaw and of course his much favorite Burger. The only problem was - we had so much food in front of us and we just couldn't finish eating. Even after 2 hrs of continuous eating, we weren't still done. Off went some items in the fridge and finally the plates were empty :) S would have thought thats the end of it. But what did he know, I woke him up at 12 exactly to cut the cake. Pity him..more than surprised, he was tired and sleepy :D I was almost holding the knife and would have cut it myself and S would have been sleeping while he was standing next to me waiting for me to open the box :D
